Acne Fashion

Acne

Founded in Stockholm in 1996 by four creatives, Acne's ambition was to create and develop a lifestyle brand through desirable products, as well as helping other people to build their brands. This ambition led to diverse assignments in advertising, graphic design, Internet games and TV production. Acne was one of the first brands to see the space in the market for denim and used this forward thinking to create 100 pairs of unisex jeans. They were featured in Swedish Elle magazine and soon, Sweden's leading boutiques wanted to carry the characteristic jeans with bright-red stitching. These are the foundations of Acne.

This acne has nothing to do with skin blemishes. This is "fashion" all the way. Below you can learn more about Acne fashion. After reading, feel free to comment regarding this fashion brand.

Jonny Johansson ACNE’s creative director, branched out into other design genres. The first full collection was launched in 1998, and it set the tone for the brand – the subtle luxury and understated items originates from the ethos that the clothes should feel like someone’s wardrobe. Cool and personal. The result is that nothing dominates anything else, yet every piece is effortlessly stylish.
This company has also created the ACNE Paper, which was developed as a visual form of communicating the ACNE collective and what inspires it. The Independent Newspaper describes it as “pointing to the future of fashion publishing.”

With stores and projects across nine countries, Acne is today recognized internationally as a creative collective, unique for its corporate diversity in fashion, graphic design, film production and advertising, as well as product, business and concept development.

HAVE YOU PURCHASED ACNE FASHION PRODUCTS? WHAT IS YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS BRAND? I am not too thrilled with the name because it reminds me of pimples. That is NOT my opinion on their fashion, just on the selection of the brand name. Probably their is another meaning in other languages.

Brooks Brothers Outfits Students

has been designated the official apparel sponsor for the USA Pavilion at this year’s world’s fair, Expo Milano 2015. Brooks Brothers, established in 1818 and America’s oldest apparel brand, created custom uniforms for the 120 Student Ambassadors representing the best and brightest from colleges and universities from across the United States.

Each student is outfitted in the brand’s iconic button-down shirt and blue blazer. Completing their outfits, men will wear a special edition tie and women a custom silk scarf; both items feature the USA Pavilion’s distinctive flag motif.

All of the uniforms have been created by Brooks Brothers at its factories in the USA and were revealed during the opening day ceremony.
The USA Pavilion’s theme is “American Food 2.0: United to Feed the Planet” and encourages open dialogue and highlights innovation on a wide range of topics, including food security, sustainability and mobility, with an eye towards the planet’s future.

Brooks Brothers has also designed and created uniforms for the staff of the James Beard American Restaurant at Seven Stars, located at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and for the USA Pavilion’s “Food Truck Nation” located on the USAP grounds. The restaurant staff can be seen wearing red & white gingham shirts, a navy tie and an apron crafted in denim.

“Brooks Brothers is proud to be a partner and sponsor of the USA Pavilion at Expo Milano,” said Claudio Del Vecchio, Brooks Brothers Chairman and CEO. “It is a significant and historic event and we feel strongly aligned with Expo’s mission to showcase American innovators that strongly influence and shape our culture on a global scale.”

We are grateful for the tremendous effort they have put into designing great outfits that blend Italian and American styles. Student Ambassadors were thrilled when they first tried them on”.

Brooks Brothers will also offer exclusive souvenir products including two signature ties, hats and a denim apron, all made in the USA. These collectable items will be sold exclusively at the USAP and at the Brooks Brothers flagship store on Via San Pietro all'Orto in Milan, Italy.

Stray Heart Fashion Brand

stray heart

Junk Food Clothing has just announced the Fall 2013 launch of its highly anticipated women's contemporary line, Stray Heart- a collection of pieces for the effortless female style inspired by the modern gamine. Stray Heart is a directional everyday basics line of bright and modern go-to-pieces that is made with love in the USA. Inspired by a sense of adventure, Stray Heart's mission is to infuse each piece with the effortless, efficient, and romantic spirit that defines the brand and embrace the firm belief that just because you stray, doesn't mean you're lost. Sensibilities borrowed from both runways and the road, every silhouette is named after a street including, Ricki St, Isabel St, and Luna St. to name a few, the line is made for girls on the go. She is adventurous, curious, and effortlessly chic; as she travels she takes note of her favorite stops and shops along the way and embodies the stray heart at every fashionista's core being.

For the first season, the story revolves around clean-lined athletic influences contrasted with the toss-on edge of 90's grunge. "The classic old-school image of editors wearing running shoes during fashion week and tying a hoodie around the waist inspired us to turned this laid back, irreverent spirit into Stray Heart, while maintaining the polish that make such style choices feel fresh in the first place," says Andrei Najjar, Vice President of Marketing. The Stray Heart Fall '13 collection features custom developed fabrics in a range of vibrant colors. The collection is full of both bold hues such as pinks, corals, and turquoise as well as crisp and clean whites, grey, and black basics. The line ranges from the basic scoop neck t-shirt to the front pocket hoodie, the pullover sweaters to the shawl collar cardigan, each piece is given the Stray Heart twist with thoughtful details and new proportions to enhance your closet favorites. Stray Heart turned this laid back, irreverent spirit into their Fall line, while maintaining the polish that make such style choices feel fresh in the first place.

The Stray Heart collection of ultra chic everyday basics ranges in price from $46-$108 and will be available late this summer on www.strayheartla.com.
