After designing exquisite works for labels such as Gianfranco Ferré, Roberto Cavalli and Valentino, designer Deborah Sawaf was able to hone her craftsmanship skills and create deliciously stunning handbags and accessories that exude elegant glamour and breathe her love for art, culture and travel.


Thalé Blanc paints a picture of Sawaf's worldly experiences through its clutches, day bags and jewelry of treated exotic skins adorned with unique custom hardware ranging from tassels, leather knot handles and Swarovski crystals.  Sawaf blends concepts of international influence and combines modern technique with traditional artistry with each piece in her European brand. Passionately driven by art, her inspirations range from the 1920's to French Renaissance and Baroque periods, as well as from exotic lands with rich histories of textile and ornament.  

Sawaf's designs go beyond the fashion norm as her Flutter of Hope collection radiates her passion for pediatrics and charitable causes and was created to benefit the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. The pieces feature plexi clutches embellished with three dimensional etched butterflies, which are a symbol of new beginnings and a 20% donation from each purchase of a Flutter of Hope clutch will be donated directly to pediatric cancer research.
