Pharrell Williams accepted the Fashion Icon Award recently at the CFDA Fashion
Awards gala in New York. During his speech he stated that “I’m not a style
icon. I’m just inspired…and I am ok with that.”
Michael Amar, Chief Designer of the Atelier men’s collection, creates pieces that inspire men in the same way Williams inspires fans to express their personal style.
“Pharrell is a worthy recipient of the Fashion Icon Award,” states Amar. “His engaging personality matches his wardrobe choices which are thoughtfully put together but that have an air of informality. I would recommend our Bologna black suede driver shoes with a leather lining and Gommino sole. Then to play on his love for graphic treatments, I would put Pharrell in our Art navy wool knit two-button blazer with gold buttons and crest logo.”
